We provide a service to dog owners,
where they bring their dogs to our facility and the pet can interact
with other dogs. We have regularly scheduled activities with structure,
positive reinforcement and playful, happy surroundings.
A stable pet is one that is exposed
to social interaction regularly under a controlled atmosphere.
Day care is especially helpful
for puppies whose owners are away for the day. Your pet will be
happy, tired, socialized and overall a better pet if he or she
is not left alone for hours in a crate or confined to a room with
no interaction with people or other pets. Dogs are very social
animals and their personalities are pretty much defined while
they are still very young. We teach puppies, using positive reinforcement
always, to interact socially with other dogs. We also, of course,
do not allow behaviors such as jumping, biting, fighting with
other dogs and bathrooming anywhere other than outdoors. As a
result, you get good training for your puppy as a side benefit
of daycare. WAY MORE FUN THAN STAYING HOME ALONE!!!!!!!!

We are a crate free facility. We
have pens and boarding suites. Suites are available on a first
come, first serve basis. If you have a special needs dog who should
be in a suite, please try to reserve as far in advance as possible
as our suites are booked out well ahead of time.
We have three turnout areas. Dogs
are put out on a rotating basis. Dogs are never outside unsupervised.
Your pet will be out for bathroom activities at least every two
hours during the day. Play times are generally in the mornings
and limited during the afternoon heat. A final turnout, good night
kisses and cookies are done between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm each
night.

and upset stomach. You are encouraged to bring food for your pet.
There are no extra charges for
medications and, as stated above, special needs dogs are welcomed.
We do reserve the right to refuse aggressive dogs.

For many years we have been doing
rescue and adoption for sighthounds. This includes afghans, borzois,
greyhounds and whippets. If you are interested in giving up a
sighthound for adoption or interested adopting one of these breeds,
please contact us.

We are more than willing to talk
with you about adopting a breed which will work well in your situation.
We will then refer you to a breed specific rescue group in this
area. Call us at 386-575-1007 for information.

Our main concerns are safety and
good health. The following are required for all dogs allowed into
the center:
All fees are due and payable prior
to picking up your dog. Cash, check, debit card or Mastercard/VISA
are accepted. Discounted packages are available but must be paid
in advance and are not refundable.
Our kennel is designed for indoor
pets only. Dogs who are kept outside in back yards and on porches
will not do well in our facility. We do not have indoor/outdoor
runs and a determined dog can probably break out of our pens.
We try very hard to keep our place quiet and calm. A dog who is
used to being free to roam the yard all day is going to bark and
be quite unhappy in our care. For our sake, the sake of our doggie
guests and the sake of your dog, please contact one of the other
kennels in the area which have indoor/outdoor runs if you have
an outdoor dog.
